Salary Range: $48,300.00 To $51,500.00 Annually

Job DescriptionThe Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher will be responsible for implementing lesson plans for students with developmental disabilities in accordance with NYSED Guidelines.
Responsibilities- 12 month position (school calendar plus 6 week summer session)
- Hours:
8:00-3:00 Monday to Friday - 12 month salary:
Commensurate with Education and experience - Bachelor s: $48,300
- Master s: $51,500
- Medical, dental, vision and Aflac plans available; generous PTO; paid school breaks and holidays; 403B plan

- NYSED certification:
Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2, Students with Disabilities 1-6, or Students with Disabilities All Grades - Excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members
- Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis highly preferred
- Ability to implement differentiated instruction in accordance with NYSED standards
