Science Teacher

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in York that is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher. The school is looking to take on a dedicated Science Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining high expectations in the classroom and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
