Job QualificationsHave a love for children. Be reliable and friendly.
Excellent communication skills.
NYS Certification or study plan preferred.
Required Qualifications- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development and state certification.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and five years' experience in a licensed early childhood center.
- Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associate’s or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.).
- Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.).
- Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
- Track children’s progress.
- Communicate with parents regularly.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
