Job Title: School Aide

Salary: $20-$30 per hour

Daily hours: 8-10 hours per week

Work year: 12 months

• Plan and deliver cultural lessons in Spanish and English
• Promote cultural awareness and appreciation in the school community
• Provide support to multilingual students under the general direction of a certified teacher
• Support staff with information about students' language and cultural backgrounds to assist planning
• Communicate and partner with families and staff
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Proficiency in oral and written Spanish
• Ability to communicate in English
• New York State Teaching Certification (preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Languages
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to demonstrate cultural competency

Minimum Requirements: None

All new employees must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment through the NYSED before employment begins.
