About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pre School Lead Teacher to lead our team of educators in Brooklyn, New York. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our preschool program, developing and implementing lesson plans, and working closely with parents to ensure each child receives a top-notch education. As a Pre School Lead Teacher at Beanstalk Academy, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of educators in planning, implementing, and evaluating preschool curriculum and activities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, families, and community partners
- Assess and address the developmental needs of preschool students, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Ensure compliance with state and national standards for early childhood education
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on best practices and research-based strategies
- Use your expertise to create a stimulating and fun learning environment that promotes socialization, exploration, and creativity
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lead teacher or assistant lead teacher in a preschool setting
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field (Study Plan option available)
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of educators
- Competitive annual salary range of $50,000 - $65,000
