Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated and engaging Middle Schol science Teachers to join a respected charter school in Co-op City, Bronx, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. We have multiple openings for educators with experience teaching Middle school science.

• Location: a Charter school in Co-op City, Bronx, NY
• Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 – June 25, 2027
• 42.5 hours per week - 2.5 hours overtime weekly
• Compensation: $40/hour on W‑2 (paid weekly)

• 7th Grade Science
• 8th Grade Science

• Deliver engaging, standards‑based Science instruction to high school students
• Develop lesson plans aligned with New York State learning standards
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assess student progress and utilize data to drive instructional decisions
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff regarding academic progress
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to improve student outcomes
• Maintain accurate student records and fulfill all school documentation requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid New York State teaching certification in Mathematics preferred
• Previous experience teaching high school mathematics preferred
• Transcripts showing minimum 12 credits in undergrad math required for non‑licensed candidates
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
• Experience in a charter school setting is a plus
