Program DetailsEducator Pay Rate: $17.00‑$20.00 (based on education and experience)
Program
Hours:
Monday‑Friday; 7:00 AM‑9:00 AM and 2:00 PM‑5:00 PM
- Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
- Organize and Facilitate Daily
Activities:
prepare activities and curriculum aligned with the program’s objectives and lead structured, educational, and enjoyable experiences. - Leading by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while achieving program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
- Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Communication: communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) AND at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 5
- First Aid and CPR – in‑person training
- Cleared tuberculosis test
- Proof of MMR
- 18 + years of age
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required
