Description
Seeking highly qualified candidates for full-time, tenure-track teaching positions in our ELA department. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the English curriculum and the developmental needs of adolescent students, and will utilise a variety of instructional methods and culturally responsive practices to engage learners of all ability levels. The candidate will also support and strengthen students' reading, thinking, and writing skills;
assess student progress on an ongoing basis; and integrate instructional technology.
Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
Qualifications- New York State Teaching Certification in English 7-12 is required.
- Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
