Responsibilities
Instruct student actors and coordinate with the musical director, choreographer, and technical director for productions. Adhere to attendance and grading policies. Expected contact time will occur in afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
Essential Functions- Ability to work with and teach a diverse student population.
- Ability to speak in front of groups of people.
- Must effectively communicate with students, co‑workers, supervisors, and the campus community.
- Must develop, prepare, and present information.
- Must be able to operate computers.
- Must physically perform the duties of the position.
- Master’s Degree in any field.
- Previous working experience as a Theatre Director.
- Previous college‑level teaching experience is desired.
Remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $1,008 per lecture hour / $903 per lab hour. Classes are held on the main campus in Sanborn, NY.
