Position Title: Part‑Time Health Education Instructor

Advertised Salary: $1,008 per lecture hour / $903 per lab hour for teaching at least 3 credits per semester
General DescriptionTeach health education courses to students throughout the academic semester. Responsibilities include delivering content in campus, hybrid, blended, or online formats, tracking attendance, reporting student learning outcomes, and reporting grades at the end of each semester.
Typical Work Activities- Teach courses in the agreed delivery format (on campus, hybrid, blended, or online).
- Track attendance and student learning outcomes.
- Report grades at the conclusion of the semester.
Work with and teach a diverse student population; communicate effectively with students, coworkers, supervisors, and the campus community; develop, prepare, and present information; operate computers; physically perform duties of the position.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Health, Health Education, Human Performance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Physical Education or Health, Health Education, or a health‑related field.
- Previous teaching experience at a community college or 4‑year college/university.
- Remote learning teaching experience.
- Experience with the Blackboard learning management system.
