Location: New York
Job Description
Five Points Learning is now hiring for part‑time tutor positions. We seek experienced test prep instructors to prepare students for the Math sections on the SAT, ACT, and SHSAT exams.
Qualifications- Degree in Math a plus
- Experience teaching/tutoring Math a plus
- Experience teaching/tutoring SAT/ACT/SHSAT a plus
- Experience teaching groups of 10 or more a plus
- Passion for education and for helping students improve academically
- Ability to motivate and instill confidence in all types of learners
- Persuasive and enthusiastic personality with an ability to relate to people of different ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Highly motivated and energetic
- Relentlessly positive and optimistic
- Organized, punctual, and polite.
Job Type: Part‑time
Salary: $20.00 to $50.00/hour
This is an in‑person role with possible opportunities for hybrid work.
