Recreation Advisor

We are seeking Recreation Advisors to create enjoyable, enriching experiences for student residents. They will lead recreation programs that promote wellness, teamwork, and personal growth.

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Wednesday–Friday 3 pm–12 am;
Saturday and Sunday 10 am–7 pm;
Monday and Tuesday off. Occasionally alternate schedule.

• Supervise and coordinate center activities to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive student environment.
• Work with staff members to promote positive student behavior and engagement.
• Monitor campus safety, respond to incidents, and enforce policies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance, helping students develop life and career skills.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to maintain a productive, goal‑oriented atmosphere.
• Maintain equipment inventory, recommend purchases, and perform routine repairs.
• Document student participation and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (advanced degrees preferred).
• Valid in‑state driver’s license.
• Experience supervising youth or related experience in Job Corps or similar setting.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Capable of lifting 40 pounds or managing lift safely.
