Teaching Assistants part-time Elementary

Probationary Tenure Track Teaching Assistants and Part-time Teaching Assistants

East Greenbush CSD is accepting applications for seven Probationary Tenure Track Teaching Assistants and two Part-time Teaching Assistants for the elementary level. The positions are 6.5 hours per day, 10 months per year. The positions are to work with students or groups to support their understanding of the curriculum; support students with social-emotional and management needs; support students with ADLs and self-help skills, or with the use of assistive technology or augmentative communication devices;

provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to students for the purpose of re-teaching and review. Assist with classroom management, including implementation of behavior management plans; provide instructional assistance or support in a computer lab, classroom or other instructional location under the direct supervision of a teacher.
