Basketball Coach

At SA, non‑academic subjects aren’t “extra” but essential. Athletics serve as critical, creative outlets for scholars to explore and develop their passions and talents in basketball, soccer, track & field, and volleyball. We expect sports coaches to be masters of their craft and share their passion, talent, and experience in the classroom.

We are looking for results‑driven Elementary, Middle, and High School Basketball Coaches to join our community.

• Be a part of a highly motivated team committed to education reform, parent choice, and the building of exemplary schools.
• Collaborate with coaches across the network to build a world‑class athletics program.
• Inspire a love for sport and encourage critical thinking through rigorous instruction.
• Coordinate and lead family meetings.
• Receive routine, ongoing feedback and support from an outstanding leadership team and faculty.

• Have experience coaching youth and/or collegiate teams.
• Be able to manage both administrative and coaching aspects of the position in a timely and organized manner.
• Be able to develop/teach concepts such as teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and sportsmanship.
• Possess a demonstrated track record of propelling students’ understanding and love of sport.
• Have experience coaching futsal (a plus).
• Experience working with K‑4 grades in a school setting (a plus).
• Have a drive to ensure that joyful, rigorous instruction is delivered to every scholar, every day.
• Ability to become part of the school community and build relationships with key stakeholders and all constituents.

Compensation: $65,000 – $65,000 USD (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience).
