Description
We are seeking a Part‑time Assistant Administrator to support the Adult Education Career and Technical Education (CTE) evening program two nights per week from 6:00‑10:00 PM. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to inquiries regarding program information, enrollment, and placement
- Making necessary program announcements
- Supporting prospective students with registering for classes, exams, course offerings, training opportunities, and application/payment options for Adult CTE programs
- Completing staff observations (at least one per year per instructor)
- Conducting walkthroughs to ensure proper class operation
- Providing guidance/feedback to instructors
- Maintaining nightly attendance in the student information system (Xenegrade)
- Documenting the condition of Cosmetology classrooms
- Distributing textbooks on nights that certain classes start
- Conducting student evaluations at the end of class sessions
- Mediating student conflicts, as necessary
- New York State Education Department Certification:
School District Leader (SDL)
