Coaching:
Improving student outcomes by engaging in coaching inquiry cycles with teachers. - Instructional Design: Designing and facilitating effective and engaging professional learning experiences for adults.
- Instructional Expertise: Deep knowledge of grades K-5 Math, including a strong understanding of grade-level math instruction, inclusive practices, and high-quality instructional materials.
The Program department's primary purpose is to design, deliver, and continuously improve teacher professional learning programs that strengthen instructional practice and drive student achievement.
AboutThe Role
The Program Manager's primary responsibility is to implement excellent programmatic services through coaching, facilitation of professional learning, and collaboration with school and district leaders.
- Engaging in coaching cycles, including observations, modeling, co‑teaching, data analysis, and feedback
- Designing and facilitating high-quality professional learning content and resources grounded in research‑based instructional practices
- Maintaining strong partner relationships, supporting contract renewals, and contributing to business development as needed
- Supporting Teaching Lab systems, tools, and processes for scaling partnerships, monitoring impact, and ensuring effective implementation
- Five (5) or more years combined experience working in K-5 education, with a minimum of two years experience teaching K-5 students from traditionally underserved backgrounds
- Two (2) or more years combined experience working with partners outside of their organization to manage workflow or deliver services
- Two (2) or more years of combined experience planning and implementing projects
- Two (2) or more years combined experience leading or coaching the implementation of HQIM (in any subject area)
- Deep knowledge and experience with College- and Career-Ready math or ELA content and practice standards
- Experience designing and facilitating impactful professional learning or coaching for educators
- Experience managing relationships with clients and stakeholders in an education context
- Experience teaching or coaching at least one of the following curricula:
Illustrative Math, Amplify Desmos Math
- Strong commitment to growth mindset
- Ability to design and deliver high-quality, evidence-based professional learning
- Compelling communication and facilitation skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects
- Advanced degree
- Deep understanding of the specified curriculum, including its design and component parts
- Experience providing professional learning support and services in and for consultative organizations
