Job Description:

The Childhood Education and Literacy Department of the School of Education at SUNY Old Westbury invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach literacy courses at the undergraduate level. Prior teaching experience at the childhood grade levels is required. Candidates for adjunct positions should have a record of high-quality teaching. The adjunct instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering content to students that is appropriate with course goals and key assessments.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Literacy Education or a related field.

* Have at least 3 years teaching experience at the childhood grade levels.

* Have experience teaching and/or mentoring diverse students.
