School Counselor
Wayne Central School District is seeking a compassionate, student-focused School Counselor. The successful candidate will support students' academic, social-emotional, college, and career readiness while collaborating with staff, families, and community partners to help every student reach their full potential. Responsibilities include counseling students individually and in groups; assisting students with educational and career planning; helping students identify their interests, aptitudes, and abilities;
promoting positive decision-making and personal growth; and fostering the values and attitudes that encourage students to become successful, responsible, and productive citizens. Requirements include NYS School Counselor Certification.
