Position Summary
Applications are invited for consideration for the position of Head Men's Soccer Coach at Yeshiva University. This is a part-time position responsible for all aspects of leading an NCAA Division III men's soccer program.
Position ResponsibilitiesThis includes but is not limited to:
- Recruitment of prospective student‑athletes
- Student‑athlete development
- Training sessions
- Match preparation
- Supervision of assistants
- Scheduling
- Administrative tasks
- Monitoring the academic status of student‑athletes
- The head coach will also be responsible for working with Athletics staff to support and uphold the philosophy, goals and mission of both the University and the YU Athletics Program
- Bachelor's degree required
- A commitment to knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
- A minimum two years of collegiate coaching experience preferred, or three years at the high school or club level
- A commitment to working closely with the department's recruiting coordinator on identifying and building relationships with Yeshiva High School and international recruits
- Demonstrated ability to establish good rapport and effective working relationships with student‑athletes, coaches, staff, and alumni
- Ability to work nights, weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
