Position is only open to current MTA/NYCT Station Supervisors.
SummaryOperations Training provides approximately 350 individual courses focusing on safety, technical and operational training for new hires, promoted and incumbent employees. Programs are designed in partnership with New York City Transit's departmental management and, where appropriate, other MTA agencies, in response to mandates by Federal, State and City entities.
ResponsibilitiesThe instructor is responsible for the development and delivery of training programs in the classroom and at field locations. The instructor is also responsible for supervising and instructing students, developing and writing lesson plans, and developing and maintaining training aids, mock-ups and role plays. Additionally, the instructor will plan, organize and coordinate the delivery of training, both computer-based and instructor-led training, maintain records, prepare reports and evaluations on trainees, and deliver formal presentations.
