Job Description:

Long-Term Substitute School Psychologist (2026–2027 School Year)

Liverpool Central School District is seeking a dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Long-Term Substitute School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This assignment is located at Donlin Drive Elementary School, serving students in Kindergarten through Grade 2.

The successful candidate will join a supportive educational team committed to fostering the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of all students through early intervention and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Conduct psycho educational evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports.

Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and educational planning.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success.

Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.

Assist with crisis response and student support as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable state and district requirements.

Qualifications

Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
