ONC BOCES is accepting applications for a full-time English as a New Language Teacher.
The successful candidates will provide direct and indirect instructional support to students who come from a home where a language other than English is spoken. The instructor will provide services in accordance with Part 154 of the Commissioner’s Regulations for Pupils with Limited English Proficiency.
School Year- Base Salary: $51,830
- Plus $525 per year of experience
- Plus $45 per graduate credit
- Plus $1,150 per master’s degree

Civil Service position candidates must be reachable on the existing eligibility list. If there is no mandated eligibility list, candidates will be considered for provisional appointment. Continued employment will be contingent on successfully passing the required examination and being reached on the eligibility list.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint support criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.

Current NYS English as a New Language certification is required. Experience working in a school setting preferred.
