The Minerva Central School has an opening for a Secondary Math Teacher for the remainder of the school year. This position is a 1.0 FTE tenure track position effective 9/1/2026.
Qualifications include:
- Possession of a valid NYS Teaching Certificate, or proof of completing an accredited NYS program and be eligible for certification
- Working knowledge of the NYS Next Generation Math Learning Standards
- Strong commitment to children and their progression through the math curriculum
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with all levels of students
- Ability to monitor and evaluate the progress of all students
- Willingness to effectively collaborate with team members, faculty, and administration
- Ability to work effectively with parents and have knowledge of available resources
- Desire and ability to advocate for students based on relevant data
