Training Instructor / Specialist, Online Teaching, Learning & Development Specialist

Job Title
This is a Fixed-Term 12-months contract position.
The Impact You'll MakeYou will shape how logistics knowledge is delivered by creating engaging learning experiences that drive operational excellence, compliance, and workforce development.
What You'll DoContent Development
- Create training materials, SOPs, job aids, WBT, and ILT content.
- Simplify complex logistics processes into clear, user-friendly learning materials.
- Ensure content accuracy and alignment with operational standards.
Instructional Design
- Apply instructional design principles to develop effective learning solutions.
- Create storyboards, scripts, and training frameworks.
- Partner with SMEs and trainers to validate content.
Digital Learning
- Develop interactive e-learning, videos, infographics, and multimedia content.
- Utilize tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ensure LMS compatibility and SCORM/xAPI compliance.
Training Support
- Develop facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and presentation decks.
- Support classroom, virtual, and blended learning delivery.
Content & LMS Management
- Maintain training libraries, version control, and content governance.
- Administer Journey Hub, reporting, and course updates.
- Update content to reflect process and system changes.
Collaboration
- Work with logistics trainers and operations teams to identify learning needs.
- Support onboarding, upskilling, and cross-training initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Logistics, Supply Chain, Communications, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or technical writing.
- Experience developing both WBT and ILT training content.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Articulate Storyline/Rise, Vyond, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and Photoshop.
- Familiar with LMS platforms such as Journey Hub, Cornerstone, or SAP Success Factors.
- Basic HTML/CSS and multimedia design knowledge.
Instructional Design
- Strong understanding of ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and adult learning principles.
- Skilled in creating storyboards, scripts, e-learning modules, SOPs, and job aids.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and project management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with trainers, SMEs, and operations teams.
- Certifications:
- Train-the-Trainer (TTT)
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
- Adobe Captivate Specialist or similar eLearning certification
- Experience with SCORM/xAPI standards and LMS administration.
Exposure to warehouse and logistics systems (SAP MM/WM/EWM, Oracle SCM).

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
