QUALIFICATIONS:

• A valid New York State teaching certificate in Chemistry 7-12
• Demonstrate successful classroom experience at the High School level.
• Demonstrated ability to work with supervisors
• Ability to motivate and instruct students in developing problem solving skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in subject area

• Demonstrated evidence of a proven ability to effectively organize
• Demonstrated evidence of a proficiency in modifying curriculum to meet the needs of special education students and advanced learners

PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS:

• Demonstrated evidence of a willingness to contribute within and outside the department if called upon (i.e. advisor, chaperone, club, etc.)

ANNUAL SALARY: $44,840 - $53,700 Per WTA Contract
