Position Title Assistant/Associate Professor, School of Social Work
The School of Social Work at the University at Buffalo is searching for a faculty colleague to join our school in a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor
.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
- A doctorate in Social Work or a related discipline
- An MSW with practice experience
- An active research agenda
- Experience teaching social work courses in seated, online, and hybrid environments
Duties include:
- Conducting fundable research
- Teaching in the school’s degree programs
- Engaging in cross‑disciplinary collaboration with university colleagues
- Participating on school committees

Minimum Qualifications- PhD in social work or a related field
- MSW or a master’s degree in a related field
- PhD in social work or social welfare
- MSW and two years of post‑MSW practice experience
