Reporting to the Executive Director of Admission and Recruitment, the Associate Director of Marketing, Partnerships, and Recruitment for the Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management and Insurance (GSRM) plays a pivotal role in advancing the visibility, enrollment, and industry engagement efforts of GSRM. This position leads strategic initiatives to promote Greenberg’s undergraduate and graduate programs, strengthen relationships with corporate and professional partners, and attract a highly qualified and diverse pool of students.
The Associate Director will be a strategic thinker and creative marketer with strong relationship management skills and a deep understanding of risk management, insurance, and actuarial science industries.
This is a three‑year, term‑limited position funded by endowed resources. Continuation beyond the initial term is contingent upon funding and performance following a review approximately 2.5 years into the appointment.
Job ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand Development
- Develop, implement, and assess an integrated marketing and communication plan for GSRM's academic programs, events, and initiatives.
- Partner with the University’s Marketing and Communications team to align GSRM branding with institutional standards while highlighting its distinctive industry reputation.
- Create content for digital, print, and social media platforms that tell GSRM’s story and showcase student success, faculty expertise, and industry connections.
- Track and analyze marketing metrics to inform future strategies and ensure measurable results. Oversee the production of recruitment materials, event collateral, and digital campaigns tailored to GSRM's audiences (prospective students, employers, alumni, and industry partners).
Recruitment & Enrollment Management
- Serve as the liaison to Undergraduate and Graduate Admission for all GSRM‑related recruitment and enrollment efforts.
- Design and execute recruitment strategies to increase applications, yield, and diversity among undergraduate and graduate students.
- Represent GSRM at recruitment events, information sessions, professional conferences, and industry networking opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with high schools, universities, and professional organizations that serve as pipelines for GSRM programs.
- Provide program-specific presentations, webinars, and one‑on‑one consultations to prospective students and their families.
- Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and alumni to support admitted student conversion and enrollment goals.
