Assistant Principal
Rush-Henrietta is seeking dynamic, dedicated, diverse applicants to join the Burger Junior High School leadership team as a full-time (12-month) tenure-track assistant principal. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of secondary instruction, adolescent development, and supervision practices that lead to teacher growth and student achievement. Collaborative leadership and effective communication, initiative and follow-through are essential, including the ability to manage school operations.
Candidates must be able to collaborate with students and families in a culturally responsive manner, and to work for the success of all students. All new administrators in Rush-Henrietta are provided with comprehensive induction, mentoring, and leadership career development.
Rush-Henrietta serves more than 5,500 culturally and ethnically diverse students in nine schools, and is known for its comprehensive academic offerings, award-winning music and arts programs, family and community services, and instructional technology.
