Part Time Speech Instructor

Position Summary

Part‑time Instructor, Speech Communication & Interpersonal Communication – Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences division. Classes held on the main campus in Sanborn, NY. Remuneration: $1,008 per lecture hour for teaching at least 3 credits in a semester.

• Teach speech courses to a diverse student population.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver course material and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and the campus community.
• Operate computer equipment and utilize instructional technology.
• Perform physical tasks required by the position.

• Master’s degree in Communication or a closely related area.
• Demonstrated knowledge of communication theory, concepts, and practices.
• Experience teaching college‑level courses.
• Excellent oral communication skills.

• Experience with online or blended course delivery.
• Instructional experience at a community college.

Hourly rate of $1,008 per lecture hour for a minimum of 3 credits.
