About MAPMasa's After school program also known as MAP focuses on providing scholars in K-8th grade with homework help and academic support in the areas of most need in a safe and nurturing environment. We rely heavily on volunteers to provide ongoing tutoring and mentoring to help scholars improve their academic performance, learning engagement and overall confidence.
Program Details- Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 5 to 7pm - Location:

- Some experience in tutoring, education, or child development field preferred but not required
- 16+ years old
- Able to volunteer at least 1x a week (2 hrs) but preferably 2x a week (4 hrs) for 4-6 months
- Attend mandatory orientation and trainings
- Adhere to in-person health & safety policies COVID-19
