Overview
Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Anticipated Part‑time Teaching Assistant positions at Arthur S. May School for the 2026‑2027 school year.
Positions & Salary- (2) 35 hr/wk Part‑time Special Education Teaching Assistants (1:1) – Starting Salary $23,377
- (1) 35 hr/wk Part‑time General Education Teaching Assistant – Starting Salary $23,377
Starting salary approximately $18.05/hr; positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June. Anticipated positions range 27.5 to 35 hours per week.
Benefits- Paid sick and personal days, health insurance coverage for positions 20 hrs/wk or more
- Some paid holidays for positions 20 hrs/wk or more

- Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred but required prior to January 2027.
