Adjunct Lecturer, Chemistry
The Chemistry Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate courses during the academic year.
Fall 2026
CHEM BC3253 Quantum Chemistry
Tues/Thurs 1:10-2:25 PM and Wed 1:10-2:00 PM
Weekly office hours to be scheduled by instructor.
Pay Rate: $14,000
Exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair or Director.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements- Terminal degree in a related discipline, with all requirements for the degree completed by the time of hiring offer.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
