The Isaacs Center focuses primarily on the needs of children and low-income families, out-of-school and out-of-work youth, and aging New Yorkers. We operate at community centers located in the neighborhoods of East Harlem and Yorkville, and seek to deliver programs that are impactful, innovative, and intergenerational.

Position SummaryThe primary function of the Activity Specialist is to plan group activities that provide a safe and engaging learning environment to the participants of the Stanley M. Isaacs Beacon program. The program is delivered through a comprehensive menu of services, including project-based learning that integrate education enrichment, visual arts, clubs, trips, and sports.
ScheduleMonday to Friday, September 16, 2024 - June 13, 2025 (some holidays, evening and Saturdays) 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Hours may vary) 17-20 hours per week
Salary Range$20.00
