Job Summary

Mercy University's School of Education Department of Early Childhood and Childhood Education is looking for qualified adjunct faculty members who can teach foundational and method courses in the Undergraduate Program Early Childhood and Childhood Education
-STEM Concentration.

Required Skills & Experience
  • A teaching certificate from the relevant field
  • Teaching experiences in K-12 schools
  • Teaching experiences in Higher Education
  • Strong background in STEM
  • Ability to teach on the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses inperson during the day
  • Experiences in online teaching and learning
  • Willingness to work with students from diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Collegiality with other faculty members
  • Effectiveness in communication
  • Skilled to prepare teacher candidates for working with students with diverse learning needs in a variety of settings
Education Requirements
  • A doctoral/M.S. degree from a relevant field (Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, SWD)
  • A teaching certificate from the relevant field (Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, SWD)
