Lead Toddler Teacher
The Goddard School® of Hastings-on-Hudson is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team of passionate educators. Our Wonder of Learning™ curriculum is play-based and inquiry-driven, creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. Responsibilities As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will:
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum using The Goddard School's Wonder of Learning™ framework.
- Support children's physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
- Provide positive guidance while fostering each child's confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
- Lead an engaging, responsive classroom that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to maintain a positive, professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and school policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting is preferred.
- A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education with a plan of study leading toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
