Full-time, Non-Tenure Track Assistant Teaching Professor About the Opportunity

The Department of Applied Psychology in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University-NYC is seeking a Full-time, Non-Tenure Track Assistant Teaching Professor with an academic year appointment to teach, supervise, and provide service in the Undergraduate Applied Psychology Major in The Bouvé College of Health Sciences.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate classes such asHealth

    Psychology, Interprofessional Ethics,Mindfulness,Foundational Biostatistics,and Healthcare Research.
  • Providing service and leadership to the Department, College,University, community and profession.
  • Mentoring undergraduate students.
  • Engaging in scholarship and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical, Community,Counseling, Developmental,Health, Experimental, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate levelin Applied Psychology, Health Psychology, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration,organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating culturally responsive and supportive environments for students from diverse backgrounds

Pay Range:$76,000-$78,000

Assistant Teaching Professor (1-year appointment with the possibility of renewal)

Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
