Company Description

Predictive Safety LLC partners with construction firms to predict, prevent, and eliminate incidents before they occur through proactive, data-informed safety programs. Built by seasoned safety leaders, the company delivers OSHA and NYDOB Site Safety Training (SST), site risk intelligence reviews, and analytics dashboards that go beyond basic compliance to improve worker protection and project performance. Predictive Safety LLC is focused on making safety predictable, practical, and sustainable for modern construction environments.

Role Description

The OSHA Instructor will deliver high-quality OSHA and SST training courses to construction professionals in an on-site classroom environment and Virtually via Zoom. This part-time role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching live and blended courses, facilitating micro-learning sessions, and adapting materials to different experience levels while maintaining strict compliance with OSHA and local regulatory requirements. The instructor will assess participant understanding through quizzes and practical exercises, provide clear feedback, and maintain accurate training records and documentation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include updating training content to reflect current regulations and best practices, coordinating with company leadership, and contributing insights that align training with Predictive Safety's LLC's prevention-focused, data-driven approach.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in OSHA standards, construction safety practices, and SST requirements, with the ability to translate regulations into clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong instructional and facilitation skills, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and delivery of engaging in-person training sessions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse crews, forepersons, supervisors, and safety teams in a field-focused environment.
  • Experience with safety audits, incident prevention strategies, and risk assessment methods; familiarity with technology-enabled training (e.g., VR, digital materials) is a plus.
  • Relevant OSHA instructor authorization or safety certifications (such as OSHA Outreach Trainer, CHST, CSP, or equivalent), along with prior experience teaching adult learners.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel if necessary, manage multiple classes, and maintain accurate, compliant training records.
  • Preferred experience in construction or industrial settings and comfort collaborating with data-driven safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
