Foreign Language Spanish Instructor (Dodge YMCA)

Salary: $17.00 - $32.00 Hourly

The Dodge YMCA is seeking a Foreign Language Spanish Instructor who will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports and encourages the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of preschool students. The overall major functions of the Foreign Language Spanish Instructor also include:

• Provide a fun, safe, and positive experience for all participants.
• Demonstrate strong service and hospitality with all constituents, including, but not limited to, program participants and parents/guardians.
• Create an all-inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Teach progressive lessons and provide opportunities to demonstrate learned skills.
• Embody the YMCA Core Values.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with children from birth and up required.
• Previous experience working with small groups or with multiple people within a customer service field is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be willing to take all training required by the YMCA.
