General DescriptionSUNY Niagara seeks a part‑time instructor in Stage Management in the Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences division. The instructor will teach and advise students throughout the academic year, and attend meetings as requested. Classes are held on the main campus in Sanborn, NY.
Remuneration$1,008 per lecture hour.
Typical Work Activities- Instruct students in Stage Management, focusing on day‑to‑day duties and professional expectations.
- Adhere to attendance and college grading policies.
- Attend and participate in meetings as necessary.
Ability to navigate relationships with diverse populations; speak confidently before groups; actively engage students in learning; communicate effectively with students, co‑workers, supervisors, and the campus and external community; develop, prepare, and present information; operate computers; and physically perform the duties of the position.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Theatre or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a Stage Manager.
- Master’s degree in Theatre or related field.
- Previous teaching experience at a college or university.
NYS Certification in grades 1‑6 and/or K‑2 or similar certification preferred.
