Part Time Drafting Pressure Vessel & Process Piping Instructor
SUNY Niagara seeks a part‑time Drafting Instructor to teach courses in the Drafting department within the Business and STEM division. The instructor will teach campus classes, advise students, track attendance, report grades and learning outcomes, and participate in faculty meetings. The position requires presence on the Sanborn campus for meetings and professional development.

Working Hours:
Monday and Wednesday 2:00 pm–5:45 pm
Persons teaching at least 3 credits per semester: $1,008 per lecture hour / $903 per lab hour.
Typical Work Activities- Teach course on campus.
- Track attendance.
- Report student learning outcomes at semester end.
- Report grades at semester end.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings.
Must be able to navigate relationships with diverse populations, speak before groups, engage students in learning, communicate effectively with students, colleagues, supervisors, and the campus community, develop, prepare, and present information, operate computers, and perform the physical duties required by the position.
Required Qualifications- Associate’s degree in Drafting.
- Two years of drafting experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Technology.
- Five years of experience in AutoCAD, process piping, and pressure vessel design and drafting.
