A Baby Strong Coach is a mentor and educator dedicated to supporting babies (from birth to approximately 2 years old) and their caregivers through the most critical early years of development. Our coaches lead engaging, research-based classes that focus on physical, cognitive, sensory, and social-emotional milestones.
Through guided movement, structured play, and caregiver education, Baby Strong Coaches help families build confidence while supporting each child’s developmental journey. This role is ideal for high-energy individuals passionate about early childhood development, infant milestones, and creating exceptional, lasting connections with families.
RESPONSIBILITIES COACHING & CLASS DELIVERY- Deliver High-Energy Classes: Lead Baby Strong classes using Kid Strong's proprietary curriculum focused on developmental milestones, sensory exploration, purposeful movement, and caregiver education.
- Master the Curriculum: Understand the "why" behind the Baby Strong curriculum and confidently communicate early developmental concepts and techniques to parents and caregivers.
- Guide Milestones: Demonstrate and assist caregivers with proper age-appropriate techniques for tummy time, gross/fine motor movement, sensory play, and milestone progression.
- Maintain Class Dynamic: Create positive, energetic, and supportive interactions with families before, during, and after class, ensuring classes start and end on schedule while maintaining an excellent flow.
- Utilize Technology: Use the Kid Strong Coaches App to track attendance, record milestones, and maintain accurate class logs.
- Certification & Training: Complete Baby Strong Coach Training and Evaluations with the General Manager, as well as ongoing coursework through Kid Strong University / Learn Upon.
- Team Communication: Communicate professionally with coworkers, management, and families, maintaining active communication via company channels (Slack).
- Staff Participation: Attend and participate in monthly center staff programming meetings, training sessions, and center initiatives as required by management.
- Community Engagement: Help foster an inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant community for all participating families, driving family engagement and retention.
- Availability: Must be available for weekday morning classes and weekend shifts.
- Hours: Minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.
- Passion for Early Childhood: Genuine passion for working with babies, toddlers, and parents is non-negotiable
. - Relevant Background: Experience in early childhood education, child development, pediatric therapy, infant fitness/recreation, nursing, or early childhood teaching is highly preferred.
- Communication
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills; highly comfortable engaging with parents and caregivers about child development. - Energy & Leadership: Dynamic, positive, upbeat, and professional coaching presence with the confidence to lead groups and facilitate parent participation.
- Physical Capability: Ability to work in an active environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting/repositioning equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Certifications: Current CPR Certification required prior to the start date. Background check required.
