Job Description:

SUNY Delhi is seeking dynamic and dedicated Adjunct Instructors to teach clinical courses in our pre-licensure nursing program. Clinical learning opportunities are offered in a variety of healthcare settings in Delaware, Otsego and occasionally in surrounding counties. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Adjuncts may be eligible for generous healthcare benefits based on teaching load.

School of Nursing Majors Offering Clinical Instruction|

* Registered Nurse

* Bachelors:
Dual Degree Program

Duties may include:

* Clinical Instruction and evaluation of pre-licensure nursing students

* Developing and managing course syllabi while adhering to department and college standards

* Collaborating with colleagues in course curriculum

* Delivering learning-centered instruction to undergraduate students

* Assist in the growth and success of a diverse population of students through careful preparation of course materials, effective teaching methodologies, informed critical feedback on assignments and discussions

* Develop and adapt curriculum incorporating current technologies into the clinical learning environment

* Implementing school/campus academic and attendance policies

* Pursuing knowledge of innovations and changes within subject area and field of practice

* Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations

Requirements:

* MSN or enrolled in MSN Program

* Unencumbered NYS RN License

* Recent clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior teaching experience

* Prior teaching at the collegiate level
