At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our Head Start Program. In this leadership role, you'll guide classroom activities, implement educational programs, and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Responsibilities:Lead and supervise all classroom functions with professionalism and care
Implement daily educational programs that support developmental milestones
Maintain accurate daily records and documentation
Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality Head Start programming
Provide mentorship and guidance to classroom support staff
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Study Plan available)
Initial or Permanent B-2 Certification (or equivalent; Study Plan available)
2-5 years of experience working with children ages birth-4 in a classroom setting
Head Start experience preferred
