Most schools lower expectations when students struggle. You take a different approach. You know that young learners can achieve far more than traditional classrooms require, and you've led teams that deliver measurable proof. You understand that accountability, motivation, and high standards have greater impact on a child’s trajectory than any additional worksheet. Alpha uses adaptive learning technology to complete academics in just two hours each morning.

This structure allows you to concentrate on what drives the greatest long-term results: guiding students toward independence as learners and developing the Guides who enable that transformation. You will be accountable for outcomes in a cohort of K-3 students, leveraging data, observation, and coaching to ensure each child enjoys school, learns at twice the standard rate, and builds exceptional life skills.

This role is neither an instructional coach position nor a principal position. You will not be consumed by administrative meetings or paperwork. Instead, you’ll spend time in classrooms analyzing Guide and student performance, running workshops on focus, communication, resilience, and accountability, and coaching children and adults toward concrete improvement. Your impact will extend beyond your assigned cohort. You’ll capture effective practices, create playbooks that elevate standards across the campus, and contribute to how Alpha trains future Guides.

• Use performance data, classroom observations, and targeted feedback to coach Guides and students toward measurable gains.
• Lead dynamic workshops for K-3 students that build communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus, and additional life skills.
• Run one‑on‑one and small‑group coaching that links student motivation with academic progress and self‑direction.
• Develop and iterate on coaching playbooks that are repeatable and improve Guide team performance.
• Mentor and train Guides while demonstrating outstanding coaching and facilitation daily.

• Teaching traditional lessons or presenting academic content through lectures; core academics are managed by adaptive technology.
• Using punishment to address behavior or reducing expectations when students face challenges.
• Operating from an office rather than engaging directly with students and Guides daily.
• Handling campus operations, budgets, or parent outreach; your priority is people development and outcome improvement.
• Adhering to conventional elementary school methods solely because “that’s how it’s always been done.”

• Able to work on‑site at an Alpha campus in New York City, NY or Miami, FL; we offer relocation support
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with elementary‑aged children (roughly ages 5‑9).
• Track record of leading teams of five or more people, including performance management and hiring responsibilities.
• Experience building, launching, or substantially expanding a program, school, team, or initiative—not simply maintaining what already exists.
• Proven success leveraging data and measurable outcomes to enhance team or student performance.
• Enthusiastic about questioning conventional education models and adopting a coaching‑first methodology.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
