Teach foundation design within an existing structured foundation arts program, emphasizing fundamentals, principles, and the application of design concepts.

• Teach courses in the agreed delivery format
• Track attendance as needed
• Report on student learning outcomes at semester end
• Report grades at semester conclusion

Work with and teach a diverse student population; speak before groups; communicate effectively with students and colleagues; prepare and present material; operate computers; physically perform required duties.

• Graduate degree in Art, Design, or related field
• Active art/design career evidenced by exhibitions, work, and/or publications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
• Strong design skills

• Evidence of two years of college or university level teaching
• Evidence of community college teaching experience
• Evidence of teaching diverse student populations
