Substitute Teacher

Daily Substitute Teacher Position

This position will cover teacher absences as they occur. This is a daily substitute position, which requires no certification, however, certified teachers are preferred. If you are uncertified, you are allowed to work up to 40 days in a school year.

All of the forms listed below under "Additional Information" need to be filled out and uploaded to this application or you will not be able to apply.

1. Complete the sub service application/profile sheet.

2. Complete the Affirmation of Eligibility for Employment form.

3. Contact a building principal or assistant principal of your choice to schedule an interview. The principals and assistant principal are as follows:

• Jacquelyn Mader, Principal, Elementary School
• Megann Johnson, Principal, Intermediate School
• David Russell, Principal at the Jr./Sr. High School

Note:

NYS Education Department requires any person employed in a public school district to be fingerprinted specifically for the New York State Education Department. This is required before you begin work. The fee that is charged is $101.25. You can set up an appointment to be fingerprinted at  Once at their site you will be asked to enter a service code, which is "14
