Mechanicville City School District is seeking energetic, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Substitute Teacher Aide.

Teacher Aides play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students thrive in a safe, supportive learning environment. As a substitute, you will have the flexibility to choose your work availability while making a direct, meaningful impact on students' daily educational experiences.

• Classroom Support:
  Assist classroom teachers with carrying out non-instructional daily activities and managing classroom routines.
• Student Guidance:
  Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral, social, and functional support to students, including students with special needs, as directed by the teacher or district staff.
• Supervision:
  Supervise students during non-classroom times, including lunch, recess, hallway transitions, arrival/dismissal, and field trips.
• Material Preparation:
  Help prepare classroom materials, set up learning centers, and maintain an organized, safe environment.
• Personal Care Support:
  Assist individual students with personal care, physical mobility, or specialized equipment needs when required.
• Professional Conduct:
  Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and district matters in compliance with FERPA and district policy.
