Anticipated Part-time Teaching Assistant Positions

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for anticipated part-time teaching assistant positions at our Joseph D'Aquanni/West Road Intermediate School as indicated below for the  school year.

Positions include:

• 35 hr/wk part-time special education teaching assistant
• 30 hr/wk part-time special education teaching assistant (shared)
• 35 hr/wk part-time general education teaching assistant

The district offers:

• Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more
• Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more
• Access to educator's EAP
• Optional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS teacher retirement system (pension)
• Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000)

Starting salary is approximately $18.05/hr however, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.

Anticipated positions will range in hours approximately 27.5 hours per week up to 35 hours per week.
