Adjunct Faculty- Mathematics

Job Summary:

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Mercy University (NY) invites applicants for adjunct faculty positions in Mathematics to begin January 2025. Potential courses include, but are not limited to:
College Algebra, Math for Liberal Arts, Intro to Statistics, and Pre-Calculus. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to student-centered undergraduate teaching and should be dedicated to supporting the academic success of students from diverse backgrounds.

• M.A. or M.S. in Mathematics, or a related field, by the appointment date
• Demonstrated success teaching Mathematics at the College level
• Ideal candidates will have an interest and/or experience in working with educational technology such as ALEKS
