Position Summary

The Part-Time Site Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the KIPP Global Kids after school program. This individual serves as the on-site leader, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students. They will co-supervise Group Leaders, design and facilitate student workshops tailored to grade-level engagement, and serve as the primary liaison between school stakeholders and the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on-site point person for all program operations and logistics.
  • Co-supervise Group Leaders, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality student engagement.
  • Monitor staff performance and assist with scheduling, attendance, and coverage needs.
Student Engagement & Workshop Facilitation
  • Design and facilitate interactive, age-appropriate workshops that align with student interests and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and enrichment activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for school administrators, teachers, and families.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with school stakeholders to ensure alignment with school culture and expectations.
  • Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns when necessary.
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Ensure compliance with program policies, safety procedures, and attendance tracking.
  • Support data collection and reporting efforts related to student participation and program outcomes.
  • Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and site cleanliness.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or youth development setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to design and lead engaging workshops and activities.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in curriculum development or enrichment programming.
  • Familiarity with KIPP or similar charter school environments.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus.
