Part-Time (25-28 Hours, Monday–Friday)
The Part-Time Site Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the KIPP Global Kids after school program. This individual serves as the on-site leader, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students. They will co-supervise Group Leaders, design and facilitate student workshops tailored to grade-level engagement, and serve as the primary liaison between school stakeholders and the program.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the on-site point person for all program operations and logistics.
- Co-supervise Group Leaders, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality student engagement.
- Monitor staff performance and assist with scheduling, attendance, and coverage needs.
- Design and facilitate interactive, age-appropriate workshops that align with student interests and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and enrichment activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Act as the primary on-site contact for school administrators, teachers, and families.
- Maintain open and professional communication with school stakeholders to ensure alignment with school culture and expectations.
- Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, safety procedures, and attendance tracking.
- Support data collection and reporting efforts related to student participation and program outcomes.
- Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and site cleanliness.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or youth development setting.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to design and lead engaging workshops and activities.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.
- Experience in curriculum development or enrichment programming.
- Familiarity with KIPP or similar charter school environments.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus.
